Discussion of Events Calendar
*There was discussion of having a judged obstacle trail ride for our fall club ride (members only).
*Mention of full moon ride being held later in the evening due to late moonrise.
*Progressive Ride, July 31, was planned for BergeronÕs to PicardiÕs to KellyÕs.
*Suzanne discussed the possibility of attending portions of the Kokal Family/Horse ÒProject MustangÓ three-part clinic. Auditor fee $25 per day, goes to support the mustangs.
Part one took place March 20, and dealt with gentling and first touch.
Part two is April 10, 10:00 to 4:00, round penning, ground handling, saddling.
Part three is May 8, 10:00 to 4:00, first ride and obstacle training.
Horse Tenders is hosting two ACTHA competitive trail rides (with judged obstacles), June 27 & Aug 22. Cost: $58 plus food plus $25 to become ACTHA member plus $5 ranch fee.
Horse Tenders Sept 4 Ð 6 hosts the Granite State Driving Club annual ride. Details not yet

Tony Picardi initiated a discussion re: how to draw and keep membership and encourage participation in meetings and activities.
*Formalize meeting, allow less drift.
*Meet at church? More formal, less intimidating to new people.
*Make a point of speaking to new people. Tony claims new people feel excluded.
Tony will contact people on Barker Hill Rd. in Townsend - will get brochures from Deb
*Do we need to redefine the club again: Are we a mutual support group?
*Discussion of mission statement Ð may need to redefine or make more public.
Do we need to change the stated goals on website?
*Members felt having the agenda in hand would help to keep meetings on track, perhaps posted prior to the meeting or included in email - helps to prepare, helps to generate interest.
Carol Anne Bennett asked about land on Wilton Road past Pat LetourneauÕs Ð is there a trail?
Amy Bergeron knows the property Ð trail was washed out in rains several years ago Ð do we need to look into restoration?
Suzanne believes it is a class six road which can help to connect greenway. (Connects Greenville Road to Wilton Road.)
Tony feels this discussion is inappropriate and should be left for post-meeting.
Do we want to go to the Fidelity Classic in Hampton Falls as group? Club members are asked to think about it.
